The Extech EN100 is a powerful and innovative meter that joins together the following diagnostic capabilities: – Anemometer: Measure air velocity/air flow at vents and registers before and after repairs to ensure adequate fresh/conditioned air supply – Humidity Meter (Hygrometer): Measure humidity levels to check HVAC systems are dehumidifying adequately during high humidity periods, and to identify static hazards due to dry air. – Thermometer: Quantify potentially hazardous temperatures (coupled with humidity levels) especially in outdoor worksites such as construction and farming jobs or hot indoor jobs with basic fan-based ventilation. (You can even connect an external RTD probe for added temperature measurement flexibility.) – Light Meter: Ensure adequate lighting to ease eye strain for visual-intensive jobs reading labels in warehouses, QC’ing products, etc. And, the display automatically rotates when the meter is held upside-down for light readings. One rugged instrument and the right tool is always within reach! Freeze readings with the Data Hold function and light up the display with the LCD’s backlight in poorly lit areas.
