Rapid-Tech’s Resistor Block | Polarity/Continuity Testing

The Rapid-Tech Resistor Block is the perfect way to test for polarity in your electrical circuits. Simply attach the block to your circuit board and measure the resistance between two points. If the resistances are within the correct range, you can be sure that the polarity of the points is good. This handy little device is a must-have for any electrician or engineer.

• Used in single phase and 3 phase circuits to determine polarity and continuity between the active conductors and neutral/earth.
• This Resistor Block is designed to be used with a multimeter or multifunction tester. (not included).
• These 44mm alligator clips are full insulated and have a jaw opening of 10mm.
• The soft silicone cables are 1.5mm in diameter and approximately 500mm in length (1m span).
• Dead Testing only.

Resistor values:

• Red 10ohms
• White 20ohms
• Blue 30ohms
• Yellow/green 50ohms
• Black 100ohms

Result values when testing between conductors:

• 30 ohms Red – White
• 40 ohms Red- Blue
• 50 ohms White – Blue
• 60 ohms Red – Earth
• 70 ohms White – Earth
• 80 ohms Blue -Earth
• 110 ohms Red – Black
• 120 ohms White – Black
• 130 ohms Blue – Black
• 150 ohms Black – Earth
