The Sefram DAS220 10 Channel Handheld Universal Datalogger is the perfect solution for all your recording needs. With its ten analogue channels and twelve logical inputs, it’s designed to measure all of the parameters found in an industrial process, such as voltage measurements, sensors (0-10V), temperature readings from thermocouples and Pt100-1000 probes, current measurements (with optional shunt) and resistance measurements – plus a pulse counter and frequency counter.
You can easily view the results of your measurements directly on either graphs or numerical values, and you can store that data into the recorder memory or onto a USB memory stick for later transfer and processing on a PC with the license-free DasLab software. The battery version of this datalogger, known as the DAS220BAT has its own internal lithium-ion battery which provides up to 15 hours of autonomy.
The user-friendly interface makes setup fast and efficient: the 10 inch TFT panoramic touch screen responds quickly to user input allowing you to manage both device setup (online & offline) as well as remote set up of the DAS220. Furthermore, there are four alarms that can be set up (output), four logical function inputs with counter & frequencymeter capability built into this datalogger. It has 16 Bit vertical resolution with maximum sampling rate of 1ms (1kHz).
For those who want even more features along with added safety assurance, there is also a MODBUS TCP slave feature available for connecting this device to other MODBUS systems. The IEC61010 CAT I 100V rating ensures safe operation in all applications. All in all, this multi-channel data logger is ideal for monitoring and recording temperature readings from various sources; 0-10V sensors; taking voltage measurements; counting pulses; measuring current (with optional shunt) or resistance – making it one of the most versatile dataloggers in its class!
DasLab software is free to download from our website and will help you manage setup, download files and records, as well as remotely set up your data logger. The link between the DAS220 and your computer can be done via an Ethernet interface or a WiFi option.
